BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE White Line Co. is seeking a talented, committed, sales professional to join our commercial team in the development of relationships and sales with the travel industry and our related business in tourism and hospitality. White Line owns the Saigon based The Old Compass cafe, and represents Rusty Compass, the Australian travel guide and boutique travel company. The position will entail the development of a network of advertisers and other commercial partners across Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos from the ground up. The successful applicant will be taking our brand to the travel industry and prospective advertisers for the first time in some territories. This presents a unique and exciting set of challenges and opportunities. The successful applicant will be a driven, self-motivated person of high integrity, able to work independently and free of direct supervision. It is expected the successful applicant will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The role will be in charge for: 1. New Business Development * Advertising sales & marketing for the travel and hospitality business * Sponsorship and other opportunities * Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business. * Research and build relationships with new clients. * Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network. * Participate in pricing the solution/service. * Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately. 2. Client Retention * Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships. * Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs. 3. Business Development Planning * Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends. * Present to and consult with level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels. * Identify opportunities for campaigns, digital channels that will lead to an increase in sales. * Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators. 4. Management and Reporting * Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate. * Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM or other sales management system. * Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met the target. * Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.

This role will report to the Commercial Development Manager. The position will enjoy increasing autonomy over time.
